voices of the last generation of agricultural workers and residents of Locke.Layered with California Chinese history picturesque Locke, is the only American town built by the Chinese for the Chinese. On the Registry of National Historical Places, it is a fragile time capsule and a hidden gem.Join Jeff and James on an insider’s stroll through the streets of Locke, and hear the backstory of Locke’s layered past. Experience history as it unfolded, partake in the rich living memories of the people and places of this unique Delta Chinese town.
